You review it, ask questions, and decide if you want to move forward. No pressure at any stage.

Pricing is project-based and scoped to your specific needs. You'll receive a detailed proposal with a fixed price before any work begins — no surprises. I don't do hourly billing or open-ended retainers unless you specifically want ongoing support. The best way to get a number is to schedule a free consultation so I can understand what you're working with.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No. Each project is scoped with a defined start, end, and set of deliverables. There are no retainers required. If you want ongoing support after a project, that's available on a flexible basis — but it's always optional.

How long does a typical project take?

Most projects run 2–6 weeks. A one-time analysis or report might take 2–3 weeks. A dashboard build is typically 4–6 weeks. A data strategy engagement runs 3–4 weeks. More complex work like multi-system data cleanup can run 4–8 weeks depending on volume. I'll give you a specific timeline during scoping.

How quickly can you start?

I typically start new projects within 1–2 weeks of signing the proposal. If you have an urgent need, I can often accommodate a faster start — just mention it during our consultation and I'll let you know what's realistic.

Everything I build, you own. I deliver full documentation and walk your team through the work so you can operate independently. If you want ongoing support — maintenance, new reports, periodic check-ins — that's available. If you don't, you're fully equipped to run what I've built without me.

Will you need access to our systems?

In most cases, yes — read-only access to the data sources I'm working with. I'll be specific about exactly what access I need during scoping. I don't need admin access or credentials to anything beyond what's required for the project.

I treat client data with the same care I applied to PCI and SOC 2 compliance work in my previous role. I'll never share your data with anyone, and I'm happy to sign an NDA before any work begins. All data stays encrypted in transit and at rest.
